Welcome to Perugia to our Fall ’24 Students
We are thrilled to welcome our new cohort of students for the Fall 2024 semester! It’s a fresh start, and we are filled with enthusiasm as we watch our school come to life with eager minds from all across the United States.
Italian Immersion Week
During the first week, which marked the beginning of our students’ Italian adventure, we started off with an immersive Italian language course. All students enrolled at the institute take this mandatory course during the first week. This crash course is designed to kick-start day-to-day life in a foreign-speaking country. As a matter of fact, this isn’t just about learning a new language; it’s about preparing students to fully engage with the vibrant culture and community of Perugia.
During the term, language courses with Italian professors are also part of the offering. For these, we organize tandem nights to help you practice Italian with students from the University of Perugia. By mingling newcomers and locals alike, they start to feel at home in this beautiful city that is rich in history and tradition.
Academic fieldtrips: A lot to look for
To further enhance your cultural immersion and appreciation of new knowledge, for many of our courses we’ve designed a series of unique field trips.These excursions will take you to historical sites, local artisan workshops, and beautiful natural landscapes, offering deep dives into the cultural heartbeat of Italy. Each trip is crafted to enrich your understanding and love for this wonderful country.
