Umbra Italian Professor Publishes New Book

Alessandra Pettinelli, Umbra Italian professor, publishes book on how to use Perugia as a “living language laboratory.”

Another publication by a member of the Umbra Institute faculty! After presenting the results of her research at the CSIS (Canadian Society of Italian Studies) conference in Venice in late June, Prof. Alessandra Pettinelli is publishing a book (co-authored with Scilla Luciani) on how to use Perugia and its riches as tool in teaching Italian as a second language – something she has been doing at Umbra Institute for many semesters now. The official book launch will be July 14th at the bookstore in Piazza Grimana.
