Maddalena Vantaggi (1981) is an ecodesigner, a design professor at the Pietro Vannucci Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, and the coordinator of the first Biennial Specialist Course in Sustainable Design offered by an academy in Italy. She has developed her own personal method that places imagination at the center of the creative process, using it as a tool for critical, ecological, and inclusive thinking. This method is detailed in her latest book Manual of Fantasiology: A Creative Education for Sustainability (2022).
